Brunches on the fine dining Entertainer app – by occasion

As well as listing brunches by cuisine and location, I thought I’d also list by occasion. These are only my suggestions, but might help when trying to narrow down your brunch selections!

For a party brunch…

1. Atelier M, Pier 7 – Dubai Marina (Italian AND Asian – mixed plates to share) – an evening brunch that gets lively later on and is perfect for pre-party food & drinks
2. Dustys, DIFC (airline theme) – good for groups with an airline theme to get the party started 
3. Bazxar, DIFC (Gatsby theme) – Gatesby style party 
4. China Grill, The Westin – Dubai Marina (Asian cuisine party brunch) – good for groups with the party starting early
5. Lucky Voice, Grand Millennium (Karaoke) – the one and only Lucky Voice promises to be a party 

Evening brunch…

1. Atelier M, Pier 7 – Dubai Marina (Italian AND Asian – mixed plates to share) – starts from 7pm onwards
2. KANPAI, Souk al Bahar – Downtown (Japanese) – another evening brunch option based on Downtown 

 

A brunch to wow visitors…

1. Imperium, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray – The Palm (buffet) – the hotel alone will wow and the dining room pulls out all the stops to provide proper Dubai glamour with a great quality brunch
2. Asia Asia, Pier 7 – Dubai Marina (Pan Asian) – the view from Pier 7 always impresses visitors and expats alike
3. Suq, Four Seasons Hotel – Jumeirah – you can’t fail to be impressed by the Four Seasons which is particularly special in the winter time for outdoor seating
4. Cafe Belge, Ritz Carlton – DIFC – great quality brunch in the Ritz Carlton recently revised to offer a buffet brunch 
5. Crescendo, Anantara – The Palm – an all round favourite on the Palm showing visitors why the traditional Dubai brunch is so special

For the views…

1. La Parrilla, Jumeirah Beach Hotel (Set menu – tapas to share and selection of mains) – with views over the Burj al Arab and Jumeirah Beach, this has to be a favourite choice.
2. Al Grissino – DIFC (Set menu) – views overlooking the Burj Khalifa from here.
3. Alta Badia, Emirates Towers – DIFC (Set menu) – on the 50th floor with views across the city and DIFC
4. Karma Kafe, Souk al Bahar – Downtown (Pan-Asian) – Grab an outdoor spot for views of the Burj Khalifa and afternoon fountain show
5. Asia Asia, Pier 7 – Dubai Marina (Pan Asian) – as mentioned above, Pier 7 is special for a Marina view 
6. Beach Lounge, Jumeirah Beach Hotel (Set menu sharing dishes) – another one in this popular hotel with impressive views from the beach 

For the buffets…

1. Crescendo, Anantara – The Palm – great traditional Dubai style brunch 
2. Caravan, Ritz Carlton – JBR – pricier end of the brunch scale but this is the Ritz and the quality is very good 
3. Suq, Four Seasons Hotel – Jumeirah – Smaller selection but setting and quality make up for it
4. Ballaro, Conrad – SZR World Trade Centre – Smaller selection and mixed reviews but an option to consider if you’re looking for a buffet brunch near DIFC
5. Cafe Belge, Ritz Carlton – DIFC – Recently moved to a traditional brunch and early reviews suggest this is one to add to your list!
6. Farriers, Meydan – Great traditional brunch option for the family
